Eligibility Criteria
- Non-ITI Category: passed Madhyamik (Class X or equivalent) with minimum 50% aggregate marks and minimum 40% marks in both Mathematics and Science.
- Ex-ITI Category: Passed Madhyamik (Class X or equivalent) with minimum 50% aggregate marks AND passed ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT) with minimum 50% marks.
- Note: Candidates with a result awaited are NOT eligible.

Detailed Exam Pattern
Selection Criteria
- No Written Exam: The selection is purely based on the merit of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- Non-ITI Merit: Based on overall percentage of marks in Madhyamik (Class X).
- Ex-ITI Merit: Based on simple average of percentage of marks in Matriculation and ITI (Minimum 50% required in both).
- Tie Breaker: Preference given to older candidates. If DOB is same, preference to earlier year of passing.
