  • Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India and a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh to avail reservation benefits.
  • PET 2025 Qualification (MANDATORY): Only those candidates who appeared in UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and received a Score Card are eligible to apply. Shortlisting for Mains will be done on the basis of PET 2025 Normalized Score (15 times the number of vacancies).
  • Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess Intermediate (12th) from UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad or equivalent recognized Board.
  • Mandatory Professional Qualification: RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) recognized Diploma in Special Education in the specific disability area relevant to the post applied for (Hearing Impairment / Visual Impairment / Mental Retardation / Cerebral Palsy / Locomotor Disability).
  • RCI Registration: Candidate must be registered with RCI as a Special Teacher in the relevant disability domain at the time of application.

  2. Click on 'Apply Online' against Advt No. 03-Pariksha/2026 โ€” UP Teacher Cadre (Assistant JTC Teacher) Mains.
  3. Enter your PET 2025 Registration Number and login using OTP received on registered mobile/email.
  4. Personal details, photo and signature from PET 2025 profile will auto-populate โ€” review carefully (these cannot be edited here).
  5. Select the post(s) you wish to apply for โ€” ensure you meet ALL required qualifications before selecting.
  6. Fill educational qualification details โ€” Board/University name, passing year, certificate/roll number, qualifying date and marks obtained.
  7. Indicate post preferences (vareeyata) in order of choice and declare any preference qualification (Territorial Army/NCC).
  8. Carefully review the Declaration, tick all checkboxes and enter the Verification Code โ†’ click Save and Submit.

Recruitment Note: Mandatory PET 2025 Qualification

This is a Mains Examination โ€” only those candidates who appeared in UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 and received a valid Score Card are eligible to apply. Candidates with Absolute Score of Zero or negative Normalized Score in PET 2025 will NOT be shortlisted for the Mains. The final shortlist will be prepared at 15 times the number of vacancies based on PET 2025 normalized score, including all candidates at the last cut-off.

Recruitment Note: UP Domicile Reservation Rule

Only candidates who are permanent residents (domicile) of Uttar Pradesh are eligible for reservation benefits under SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Divyang categories. Candidates from other states will be treated as Unreserved (General) for this recruitment, irrespective of their home state category.

Recruitment Note: EWS Certificate Validity

Candidates claiming EWS reservation must possess an EWS certificate issued between 01/04/2026 and 27/04/2026 (application end date), based on financial year 2025-26 income and valid for FY 2026-27. The certificate must be issued in the prescribed format vide UP GAD Office Memo No. 3/2019/4/1/2002/Ka-2/19 T.C.-II dated 14/03/2019.

Recruitment Note: Women Reservation (Horizontal)

Women candidates receive horizontal reservation as per UP GAD Notification dated 26/02/1999 (as amended by Notification No. 39 Writ/Ka-2/2019 dated 26 June 2019). Total 8 seats across all posts are reserved for female candidates. Caste certificate for female candidates is valid only if issued from the father's side.

Recruitment Note: Divyangjan 4% Horizontal Reservation

As per UP Divyangjan Sashaktikaran Anubhag-3 orders (dated 30/07/2021, 09/12/2022, 30/09/2024, 23/05/2025, 25/07/2025), 4% horizontal reservation for Divyangjan has been ensured across Groups เค•, เค–, เค— and เค˜ of UP Public Services. Divyang candidates must update their disability category/sub-category in the application form.

Recruitment Note: Scribe / Extra Time for Divyang Candidates

As per Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 (Section 2(r) & 2(s)) โ€” candidates with โ‰ฅ40% Benchmark Disability (Blindness, Locomotor disability of both hands, Cerebral Palsy) who require a Scribe must submit a Civil Surgeon / Medical Authority certificate in prescribed format. Scribes will be provided by UPSSSC only โ€” outside scribes are not permitted. Candidates with <40% disability may be allowed Scribe and compensatory time on case-by-case basis with medical authorization.

Recruitment Note: Disqualification & Debar Provisions

Candidates found indulging in unfair means, cheating, impersonation, suppression of information, or providing false information shall be disqualified from this examination and may be debarred from all future UPSSSC examinations. The UP Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 (dated 06/08/2024) will be strictly applicable.
