RSSB Computer Instructor Recruitment 2026: 3951 Posts
Short Information: Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released Advt No. 07/2026 for 3951 Computer Instructor posts — one of the largest teacher-cadre recruitments in Rajasthan's school education sector in recent years. The drive covers two posts: Senior Computer Instructor (322 posts) under both Secondary Education and Sanskrit Education departments, and Basic Computer Instructor (3629 posts) across the same two departments. Both are regular government posts under the 7th Pay Commission pay matrix — Senior gets Pay Level-10 (₹33,800–₹1,07,100) and Basic gets Pay Level-8 (₹25,500–₹81,100). That translates to an estimated in-hand of ₹36,000–₹42,000 for Basic and ₹46,000–₹55,000 for Senior after DA, HRA and other allowances — competitive figures for a teaching role in a state government school. Candidates applying for Basic must hold a Graduate degree with 'A' Level/PGDCA or B.E./B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc. in Computer Science or IT. Senior requires MCA/'B'/'C' Level or M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc. in CS/IT or related engineering disciplines. Practical knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari script and Rajasthani culture is also mandatory. Online applications open from 25 May 2026 to 23 June 2026 via SSO Portal. The written exam (CBT/TBT/OMR) is scheduled on 22 August 2026 for Senior and 23 August 2026 for Basic. Final-year students appearing in the qualifying exam may also apply, but must obtain the degree before the written exam date.
