Short Information: Railway Recruitment Boards have opened CEN No. 02/2026, one of the biggest Technician hiring drives this year with 6557 vacancies spread across Technician Grade I Signal and 25 categories of Technician Grade III. The Grade I Signal post sits at Level-5 (₹29,200 starting pay) with 323 vacancies, open to candidates aged 18 to 33 years who hold a B.Sc in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science or a related Engineering diploma/degree. - For Technician Grade I Signal: B.Sc in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/IT/Instrumentation, or Diploma/Degree in Engineering in relevant streams.
- For Technician Grade III: Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from NCVT/SCVT recognized institutions in the relevant trade, OR Matriculation plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trade.
- Age: 18-33 years for Technician Grade I Signal and 18-30 years for Technician Grade III, as on 01/07/2026.
- Candidates awaiting final results of the prescribed qualification are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates must apply separately for each Pay Level, as separate CBTs are conducted for each.
- A candidate can choose only one RRB per Pay Level; applying to multiple RRBs for the same Pay Level leads to rejection of all applications.
