- Post Graduate (PG) degree or equivalent examination recognised by UGC in one of the following subjects: (1) English, (2) Hindi, (3) History, (4) Political Science, (5) Sociology, (6) Music.
- AND B.Ed. (Special Education) OR a 2-year Diploma in Special Education recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- RCI Registration (Mandatory): Candidates must be permanently or provisionally registered with the Bharatiya Punarvasan Parishad (Rehabilitation Council of India) before the exam date. Permanent registration number is mandatory before appointment.
- Final Year Candidates: Candidates appearing in the final year of the required PG/B.Ed. qualification may apply but must produce proof of qualifying the degree before the written exam / interview / selection stage as applicable.
- Knowledge of Hindi: Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture is mandatory.

Recruitment Details: Exam Overview — Lecturer (Special Education)

- Complete OTR (One Time Registration) first if not already done. OTR fee is one-time only.
- Live photo capture via OTR camera is mandatory. Photo must have a clear face (at least 50% coverage), white/light background, no dark glasses.
- Upload signature (black/dark blue ink, 7cm × 2cm box) and left thumb impression via OTR scanned upload.
- Application correction window: During application period + 10 days after closing (₹500 correction fee). After exam, a 7-day correction window is also available (before result).

Recruitment Info: Scribe (Shrutlekha) Rules for PwD Candidates
- Selecting 'scribe' option in the online application does not automatically entitle the candidate to a scribe — RPSC guidelines must be followed.
- PwD candidates who wish to bring their own scribe must submit: disability medical certificate, candidate and scribe undertaking, scribe's photo ID and educational qualification — at least 1 day before the exam to the exam superintendent.
- PwD candidates who want a scribe provided by RPSC/superintendent must submit: disability certificate and candidate undertaking — at least 2 days before the exam.
- Candidates under Section 2(r) of RPwD Act 2016 with Blindness, Locomotor Disability (Both Arms) or Cerebral Palsy and 40%+ disability are entitled to scribe on demand with medical certificate and undertaking.
