RDWU Bhubaneswar Faculty Recruitment 2026Eligibility Criteria
- Professor (Pay Level-14): Eligibility A: Ph.D. in concerned/allied discipline + minimum 10 years teaching experience as Asst./Assoc./Professor + minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals + research score of 120 as per UGC Appendix II, Table 2 + evidence of having guided a doctoral candidate. OR Eligibility B: Ph.D. from relevant discipline from academic institution/industry + significant contribution to knowledge + 10 years experience (supported by documentary evidence).
- Associate Professor (Pay Level-13A): Ph.D. in concerned/allied discipline + Master's degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy Layer/PwD) + minimum 8 years teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor level + minimum 7 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals + research score of 75 as per UGC Appendix II, Table 2.
- Assistant Professor (Pay Level-10): Eligibility A: Master's Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy Layer/PwD) in concerned subject + NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC/CSIR or equivalent, OR Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC (Minimum Standards) Regulations 2009 or 2016 (NET/SLET/SET exempted for such Ph.D. holders subject to UGC conditions). Eligibility B: Ph.D. from a foreign university ranking among top 500 in QS/THE/ARWU World Rankings.
- Age limit: Below 60 years at the time of application (Superannuation age is 60 years as per HED, Govt. of Odisha norms).
- The period spent acquiring M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. degree shall NOT be counted as teaching or research experience.
- Candidates in service (Government/PSU/Autonomous bodies) must apply through proper channel and furnish NOC from employer at the time of interview.

Recruitment Details: Selection Overview
- Mode: Interview-Based Selection. No written examination.
