- Candidate must be a citizen of India (or subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugee pre-1962, or PIO from specified countries with eligibility certificate).
- For Grade B General: Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD) OR Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PwBD).
- For Grade B DEPR: MA/MSc in Economics or related courses (Quantitative/Mathematical/Applied/Financial/ Business/Agricultural/Industrial/Development/ International Economics) with minimum 55% marks. Alternatively MA/MSc in Finance or related courses with 55% marks.
- For Grade B DSIM: Master's Degree with 55% marks in Statistics/Mathematics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics/Quantitative Economics/Econometrics/Informatics OR Master's in Data Science/AI/ML/Big Data Analytics with 55% OR 4-year Bachelor's Degree with 60% in these fields.
