Rajasthan HC Stenographer Grade-III/II Recruitment 2026
Short Information: Rajasthan High Court, Jodhpur has announced 163 vacancies for Stenographer Grade-III (Hindi and English) in District Courts and Stenographer Grade-II (Hindi) in District Legal Service Authorities including Permanent Lok Adalats. This is a rare opportunity where the selection depends heavily on your shorthand speed rather than a General Knowledge paper — candidates need 80 words per minute in English or 70 words per minute in Hindi shorthand, followed by a Computer Speed and Efficiency Test. During the probation period, selected candidates get a fixed monthly stipend of Rs 23,700 for two years, after which the regular pay scale kicks in at Level L-10, Rs 33,800 to Rs 1,06,700. Candidates need to have passed Senior Secondary Examination along with a working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagri script and Rajasthani dialects, plus a recognized computer certification like O-Level, COPA, or RSCIT. The age bracket is 18 to 40 years as on 1 January 2027, with relaxations for reserved categories, women, and Ex-Servicemen. Online applications open on 22 July 2026 at 1:00 PM and close on 10 August 2026 at 5:00 PM, with the exam likely to be conducted in Jaipur during September 2026.
