NHSRCL Junior Engineer & Deputy Engineer Recruitment 2026: Apply for 209 Posts (Absorption)
Short Information: National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has released vacancy notices for 209 posts of Junior Engineer (JE) and Deputy Engineer (DE) / Deputy Chief Controller across Civil, Electrical, Signalling & Telecom, Rolling Stock, and Operations disciplines. This recruitment is exclusively on Absorption Basis — only those currently working as Regular or Contractual employees in the Operations & Maintenance departments of Indian Railways, Government-owned Railways, Metro Railways, or RRTS are eligible to apply.
For Junior Engineers (Vacancy 26–32/2026), the pay scale is IDA ₹40,000–1,25,000 (NE-4) with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification O&M experience required. For Deputy Engineers / Deputy Chief Controllers (Vacancy 21–25/2026), the pay scale is IDA ₹46,000–1,45,000 (NE-6) requiring 5 years of supervisory experience.
These roles are based on India's first High Speed Rail corridor between Mumbai and Ahmedabad and will involve cutting-edge technology exposure including bullet train operations, Japanese Shinkansen-type systems, SCADA, ATP/ATO signalling, and 25kV traction systems. All posts involve shift duties including night shifts and emergency restoration work.

- Who Can Apply: Only Regular or Contractual employees currently working in Operations & Maintenance departments of Indian Railways / Government-owned or operated Railways / Metro Railways / RRTS.
- Educational Qualification: 3-year Engineering Diploma OR BE/B.Tech in the relevant discipline from a Government-recognized University/Institute (discipline varies by post — see vacancy table).
- Experience for JE Posts (26–32/2026): Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant O&M field within Indian Railways / Metro / RRTS.
- Experience for DE Posts — IDA Scale employees (21–25/2026): Minimum 5 years supervisory O&M experience; working in IDA pay scale with minimum bottom pay ₹46,000 OR 2 years in scale with bottom pay ₹40,000+ OR 5 years in scale with bottom pay ₹37,000+.
- Experience for DE Posts — CDA Scale employees (21–25/2026): Minimum 5 years supervisory O&M experience; working in PB-2 + GP 4200 (Level 6 of 7th CPC); minimum 4 years of Group C service.
- Experience cut-off date: 31/05/2026. Teaching, Apprenticeship, Internship, Freelance experience will NOT be counted.
