💡 Expert Tip

Two things that eliminate most NCL apprentice applications: First, your qualifying institute/university must be functional and operational in either Uttar Pradesh or Madhya Pradesh — qualifications from institutes in other states are not accepted, even if the degree is from a nationally recognized university. Second, candidates with higher qualifications (e.g., a B.Tech holder applying for an ITI trade slot) are explicitly ineligible. Do NOT apply if you have a qualification above the one prescribed for your chosen trade/discipline. Also, when entering your marks online, enter total marks scored AND maximum marks separately — do not round off; 49.99% will be treated as less than 50%. Submit your NATS/NAPS registration BEFORE filling the NCL application — without an Enrolment ID, your candidature will be cancelled.
