Assistant Professor (Arts/Science/Commerce/Law/FCSc/Social Work/Journalism): Master's degree with minimum 55% marks in concerned/relevant/allied subject from a recognized Indian University (or equivalent foreign degree) + NET/SLET/SET OR Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
Ph.D. Holders Exemption: Candidates awarded Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations 2009/2016 (and amendments) are exempted from NET/SLET/SET.
Faculty of Technology & Engineering (AICTE): B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent in any one of the degrees with Good Academic record.
Faculty of Pharmacy (PCI/AICTE): B.Pharm and M.Pharm degree each with First Class or equivalence in appropriate branch recognized by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Faculty of Management Studies: Bachelor's degree + Master's in MBA/PGDM/CA/ICWA/CS/M.Com with First Class + 2 years professional experience + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.
Polytechnic Lecturer (Level-9A): B.E./B.Tech./B.S. in relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent. Master's degree holders must have First Class at either Bachelor's or Master's level.
Performing Arts / Fine Arts: Master's Degree with 55% marks in relevant subject + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. OR Traditional/Professional artist with Bachelor's degree and commendable professional achievement.
Relaxation: 5% marks relaxation at Bachelor's and Master's level for SC/ST/SEBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PwBD candidates.
Other Conditions: Knowledge of Gujarati is desirable. Candidates must fulfil all eligibility conditions as on the last date of submission (30/04/2026).
