KEA KRIES Teacher Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 767 Posts for Rest of the State Cader
Short Information: The Karnataka Examination Authority has invited online applications for 767 Teacher posts on behalf of the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KRIES), covering Morarji Desai, Kittur Rani Chennamma, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Smt. Indira Gandhi, and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar residential schools across Karnataka. These Group-C teaching posts fall under the 2024 Revised State Pay Scale of ₹54,175 - ₹99,400, one of the better starting scales among state government teaching cadres. Vacancies span eight subject streams — Kannada, English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Computer Science, and Physical Education — with a portion of seats in each stream marked for Hindi-medium candidates, to be filled only if not covered through the parallel Hindi-medium recruitment process. Most posts require a relevant bachelor's degree combined with a B.Ed in the matching subject method, along with a valid TET (Paper-II) or CTET qualification. Online applications opened on 15 July 2026 and close on 13 August 2026, with fee payment accepted until 14 August 2026. Selection runs through a two-paper competitive written exam, and selected candidates will serve a two-year probation period before confirmation into these residential-school teaching posts.
