- Maximum qualification permitted is 10+2 (12th) from a recognized Board of School Education/Institution.
- Candidate must be a Domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate as on the cut-off date.
- Age must be between 18-40 years for Open Merit candidates as on 01/01/2026 (born between 01/01/1986 and 01/01/2008).
- Reserved category candidates (SC/ST-1/ST-2/OBC/RBA/ALC-IB/EWS) are eligible up to 43 years of age.
