ESIC Professor Recruitment 2026: Apply for 118 Posts
Short Information: If you are a senior medical academic with a postgraduate degree and years of teaching experience, ESIC (Employees' State Insurance Corporation) is hiring 118 Professors across 22 medical specialties in its PGIMSRs and Medical Colleges spread across India — on direct recruitment basis. The pay scale is Pay Level-13 (₹1,23,100 – ₹2,15,900) in the 7th Pay Commission matrix, and on top of that, you receive a Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) as applicable to analogous posts in Central Health Service — making the total monthly emoluments highly competitive among Central Government health institutions. The age ceiling is 50 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and ESIC/Govt. employees, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD). For eligibility, medical candidates need a recognized MBBS plus MD/MS in the relevant specialty, while non-medical candidates must hold a Master's degree plus Doctorate in the concerned subject. Teaching experience of either 4 years as Reader/Associate Professor or 3 years as Associate Professor with minimum 4 indexed research publications is mandatory. Vacancies span specialties including General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Transfusion Medicine, Anatomy, Anesthesiology, Microbiology, Pathology, and more. The application must be submitted offline by Speed Post to reach ESIC Regional Office, New Delhi, on or before 27 July 2026. The application fee is ₹500 via Demand Draft/Banker's Cheque in favour of 'ESI Fund Account No.2', payable at Delhi. Women, SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee.
