- For Advt. 02–11/2026 (Engineering Posts): Three-year Diploma in the relevant engineering branch from an AICTE recognized institution through Non-distance mode. OR Degree in the relevant engineering branch from a UGC recognized University / Deemed University through a Non-distance regular course.
- For Advt. 12/2026 (Science): Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc.) in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics from a University established under the UGC Act or a Deemed / Deemed to be University.
- For Advt. 13/2026 (Agriculture & Machinery): Three-year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical (Production) / Mechanical (Automobile) / Mechanical (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning) or equivalent branch from an AICTE recognized institution (Non-distance mode). OR equivalent Degree from UGC University.
- Candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Reservation benefits are applicable only to permanent residents of Bihar. Candidates from outside Bihar cannot claim reservation.

Recruitment Note: Reservation Policy for Bihar Candidates
Reservation benefits (vertical and horizontal) are applicable ONLY to permanent residents of Bihar. Candidates residing outside Bihar are not eligible for any reservation. The permanent address filled in the online application will be considered for this purpose. 35% horizontal reservation for Bihar domicile women is applicable in available vacancies. Freedom Fighter descendants (Swatantrata Sainani ke pota/poti/nati/natini) get 2% horizontal reservation — certificate must be obtained from the District Collector. Kinnar / Kothee / Hijra / Transgender candidates can avail the reservation benefits applicable to BC (Pichhda Varg) category.
Recruitment Note: Divyang (PwD) Disability Provisions
The nature of disabilities considered for reservation are: VH (Visual Impairment — Blind and Low Vision), HH (Hearing Impairment — Deaf), OH (Orthopedic — Locomotor disabilities including cerebral palsy, leprosy-cured, dwarfism, acid attack, muscular dystrophy), MH (Mental illness, Intellectual disability, specific learning disability, autism). Disability certificate must be from a Medical Board constituted by the Central/State Government. Temporary certificates will not be valid.
