Berhampur University Faculty Recruitment 2026Eligibility Criteria
- Professor (Pay Level-14): Eligibility A — Ph.D. in concerned/allied discipline with 10+ research publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals, total research score of 120 as per UGC Appendix-II Table-2; plus minimum 10 years of teaching experience in university/college as Assistant/Associate/Professor, or research experience at equivalent level with evidence of having guided doctoral candidates. OR Eligibility B — Outstanding professional with Ph.D. from any academic institution/industry, significant contribution to the discipline, supported by documentary evidence, with 10 years' experience.
- Associate Professor (Pay Level-13A): Good academic record with Ph.D. in concerned/allied disciplines. Master's Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC Non-Creamy Layer/Differently Abled candidates). Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience equivalent to Assistant Professor, with at least 7 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals and total research score of 75 as per UGC Appendix-II Table-2.
- Assistant Professor (Pay Level-10): Eligibility A — Master's Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Differently Abled) in concerned/allied subject; plus NET/SLET/SET conducted by UGC/CSIR; OR Ph.D. degree awarded as per UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations 2009 or 2016 (NET exemption applicable under specific conditions). Eligibility B — Ph.D. from a foreign university/institution ranking in the top 500 of QS, THE, or ARWU World University Rankings.
