Applicant must be an Indian National.
Minimum Qualification: Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized Board. Many posts additionally require a specific trade certificate, ITI, or physical/skill qualification as prescribed in Annexure-I of the notification.
Age (Group C): Male: 18–33 years; Female: 18–38 years as on closing date (28/06/2026). Age relaxation as per GOI/A&N norms.
ST Quota (A&N-specific): Only local Scheduled Tribe candidates covered under the A&N Islands Scheduled Tribe Order, 1959 are eligible for ST quota. Non-local ST candidates are considered only for UR vacancies.
OBC Quota (A&N-specific): Only local OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates as per Gazette Notification No. 343/205/F.No.8-3/2003-TW dated 16 Dec 2005 and No. 752006/F.No.8-3/2003-TW dated 19 April 2006 are eligible. Tier-I — TBT (Tablet Based Test): Objective type online exam, 150 marks, 120 minutes. Candidates shortlisted based on merit and preference in TBT.

The Andaman and Nicobar Administration is the governing body of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, a Union Territory of India located in the Bay of Bengal. The Administration functions under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and is headed by a Lieutenant Governor.
