General upper age limit: 50 Years for all posts, reckoned as on 20/07/2026 (last date of online application).
Required experience must be acquired only after obtaining the essential postgraduate qualification specified for the post.

The Central Armed Police Forces Institute of Medical Sciences (CAPFIMS) has been approved for establishment by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. Recruitment Note: Job Profile - Assistant Professor

Selected Assistant Professors will be responsible for teaching and academic mentorship of postgraduate and undergraduate medical trainees in their respective super-specialty, along with active clinical duties in patient diagnosis, treatment, and specialty procedures at the AIIMS-CAPFIMS Campus. The role also includes contributing to research activities, publications, and departmental academic programs. Appointees will be on whole-time appointment to AIIMS-CAPFIMS and are strictly barred from accepting any other paid or unpaid assignment or engaging in private practice of any kind during the contract period.

Recruitment Note: Contract Terms & Benefits

The appointment is purely on a contract basis for a period of one year, or till alternate arrangements are made, whichever is earlier, from the date of joining. It can be extended for one more year based on Institute requirement and Competent Authority approval, but cannot be extended beyond a maximum of two years under any circumstances. Either side may terminate the appointment by giving one month's notice or one month's salary in lieu. Appointees are NOT entitled to Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Attendance Treatment, Seniority, Promotion, accommodation, or any other benefits available to regular Government servants, and are also not entitled to TA for attending the interview or joining the appointment.
