Short Information: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination (I), 2026 (Advt No. 03/2026). A total of 394 vacancies are available in the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the Indian Naval Academy. Eligible unmarried male and female candidates can apply online from 10th December 2025.

Subject Wise Eligibility

For Army Wing of NDA: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of NDA and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at the INA: 12th Class pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Note: Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply.

How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website upsconline.nic.in.
Step 2: Complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process if not already done.
Step 3: Login and click on 'Latest Notifications' -> 'NDA & NA Examination (I), 2026'.
Step 4: Fill Part-I (Basic Details) and Part-II (Payment, Center Selection, Photo/Sign Upload) of the application.
Step 5: Pay the examination fee of ₹100 online (if applicable).
Step 6: Upload scanned photograph and signature as per the specified format.
Step 7: Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.
