Candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan.
Must possess the required Post Graduate / Master's degree from a recognized university.

Mode: Offline (OMR Based Objective Type).
Negative Marking: Yes, 1/3rd marks deducted for each wrong answer.
Paper-I: General Studies (Common for all streams) - 100 Marks (2 Hours).
Paper-II: Subject Specific (Geology / Geophysics / Chemistry) - 300 Marks (2 Hours).
