Eligibility Criteria

  • Assistant Editor: A degree in Law recognized by Bar Council of India AND Minimum 3 years practice as an Advocate OR 3 years judicial post OR 3 years research in Law. Must have computer knowledge.
  • Assistant Director (Museum): Master's Degree in Museology with 1st Class. Minimum 5 years research experience with published work. Knowledge of computer operation.
  • Senior Court Assistant: Master's Degree in Museology with high 2nd Class (min 55%). Minimum 2 years research/working experience in Museum.
  • Assistant Librarian: Degree in Library Science AND Diploma in Computer Application/Library Automation. Minimum 2 years relevant experience.

Detailed Exam Pattern

Written Exam & Selection Scheme

  • Assistant Editor: Written test has Part-A (Precis & Editorial Skill, 100 Marks) and Part-B (Law & Constitution, 100 Marks). Duration: 2 Hours each.
  • Other Posts (Museum & Librarian): Written test (100 Marks) covers Gen English, GK, Aptitude (30 Marks) + Core Subject (70 Marks). Duration: 3 Hours.
  • Computer Test: A qualifying Computer Test will be held for Museum and Librarian posts (Proficient/Non-Proficient).
  • Interview: Maximum 25 Marks (Minimum 13 required for Gen, 12 for Reserved).

Shortlisting Criteria

For Assistant Editor, candidates qualifying the written test will be called for interview in a 1:3 ratio. For other posts, candidates will be called for the Computer Test in a 1:10 ratio, and then for the Interview in a 1:3 ratio.
