CBE Exam Overview

  • Mode: Online (Computer Based Examination).

The Computer Based Examination will be conducted in two sessions. The standard of questions will be of 10th (Matriculation) level.

📚 Numerical and Mathematical Ability
  • Integers and Whole Numbers, LCM and HCF, Decimals and Fractions, BODMAS, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Work and Time, Direct and inverse Proportions, Averages, Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Area and Perimeter of Basic Geometric Figures.
📚 Reasoning Ability and Problem Solving
  • Alpha-Numeric Series, Coding and Decoding, Analogy, Following Directions, Similarities and Differences, Jumbling, Problem Solving and Analysis, Non-verbal Reasoning based on diagrams, Age Calculations, Calendar and Clock.
📚 General Awareness
  • Social Studies (History, Geography, Art and Culture, Civics, Economics), General Science and Environmental studies up to 10th Standard.
📚 English Language and Comprehension
  • Basics of English Language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms and their correct usage, and reading comprehension.

How to Apply

  1. Visit the Official Website of SSC at ssc.gov.in (New OTR Portal).
  2. If you are a new user, complete your 'One Time Registration (OTR)' carefully using your Aadhaar Card/ID Proof.
  3. Log in with your OTR Registration Number and Password.
  4. Click on 'Apply' against the 'Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff, and Havaldar Examination, 2025' link.
  5. Fill out the application form with your educational details and select your preferred exam centers and state preferences.
  6. Upload your recent passport-size photograph (without spectacles/cap) and signature as per the given dimensions.
  7. Pay the examination fee of ₹100/- online via UPI, Net Banking, or Cards.
  8. Submit the application form and take a printout for future reference.

Important Note on Photograph

The candidate must upload a clear, recent passport-size photograph. Applications with blurred, old, or improperly aligned photographs, or photographs with caps, spectacles, or both ears not visible, will be strictly rejected by the Commission.
