Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc Nursing Candidates: B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized Institute. Must be registered as Nurses & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council.
GNM Candidates: Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) from an INC/State Nursing Council recognized Institute. Must be registered as Nurses & Midwife.
Experience for GNM: Two Years' Experience in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.

Important Exam Notes

Duration: 90 Minutes for Prelims and 180 Minutes for Mains.
Negative Marking: 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer in both stages.
Sectional Timing: The exam is divided into sections with strict sectional time limits. You cannot jump between sections freely.
Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS: 50%, OBC: 45%, SC/ST: 40% (Additional 5% relaxation for PwBD).

Gender Reservation

As per the decision in the 4th meeting of CIB, 80% seats are reserved for Females and 20% for Males at participating AIIMS.
